Accounting Manager - Revenue Accounting & Accounts Receivable
Job Summary
 

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Accounting Manager to lead our Revenue Accounting and Accounts Receivable functions. This role is critical to ensuring timely and accurate revenue recognition, customer invoicing, AR management, and revenue-related reporting in compliance with US GAAP (ASC 606). The ideal candidate will have experience in both hardware and SaaS revenue models and thrive in a fast-paced, growth-oriented technology environment.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Own the end-to-end revenue recognition process for both hardware and SaaS offerings, ensuring compliance with ASC 606.
  • Review and approve customer contracts and sales orders for proper revenue treatment.
  • Lead and oversee monthly close activities related to revenue and accounts receivable, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Manage and improve the customer invoicing process, working closely with Sales Ops and Customer Success teams.
  • Monitor and analyze AR aging, ensuring timely collections and proper accounting for doubtful accounts.
  • Prepare and present monthly management reporting on revenue, AR metrics, and key trends.
  • Collaborate with external auditors and support audit requests for revenue and AR areas.
  • Drive process improvements and automation in revenue recognition and invoicing workflows.


 

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree Accounting or Finance 
  • CPA strongly preferred
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in revenue accounting, including managing complex revenue arrangements (hardware + SaaS)
  • Solid knowledge of US GAAP with a focus on ASC 606
  • Experience working in a technology company with multi-element arrangements.
  • Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally
  • Ability to lead and mentor junior team members (in the future)
 


The salary range for this position is: $150,000 to $170,000

Compensation will be determined based on several factors including, but not limited to: skill set, years of experience and the employee’s geographic location.
